Company’s Coming Launches Kitchen Parties

For Immediate Release
February 23, 2010

Company’s Coming, publisher of Canada’s most popular cookbooks, announces the introduction of its new home party initiative,"Company’s Coming Kitchen Parties."

Recruitment of independent home-based Coordinators is currently underway in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. Other provinces and territories will follow.

“Whatever the time of day, Kitchen Parties provide opportunities for friends and family to gather around the kitchen table for fun and conversation,” commented Grant Lovig, Publisher. “Of course, no kitchen party is complete without great food and refreshments. Then there are all those great recipes to share!”

Top that off with great values on the widest possible assortment of Canada’s most popular cookbooks, and the party’s on!

“By our count, there are more than 5 million Company’s Coming cookbook owners in Canada. That’s a lot of kitchens. Our goal is to visit every one of them!” said Lovig.

Already familiar to shoppers in retail stores across Canada, Company’s Coming believes that Kitchen Parties will build customer awareness benefiting all distribution channels. “Kitchen Parties will introduce new readers to Company’s Coming.” said Lovig. “In addition, we expect that party guests will come away with a renewed interest in our books, and be more likely to pick them up wherever they are found.”

Company's Coming Publishing Limited was founded in 1981 by author Jean Paré and her son Grant Lovig in Vermilion, Alberta. Since that time, the company has published more than 200 books, every one a bestseller. The company recently extended its reach from the kitchen to the family room through the introduction of craft books. Sales to date have totalled more than 28 million books.
