Stripe Pattern
Rnd 1:
With B, knit.
Rnd 2: With A, knit. Rep Rnds 1 and 2 for pat.

Blanket
With A, loosely cast on 48 (64, 80, 98) sts.

Join, being careful not to twist stitches, and pm to indicate beg of rnd.

With A, knit 2 rnds.

Work in Stripe pat until piece measures 7 (12, 18, 24) inches from beg. Cut B.

Continue working with A only until piece measures 10 (17, 24, 30) inches, or desired length, from beg.

Bind off using method 1 or 2:
1. Loosely bind off all sts, then turn the tube inside out (purl side will be outside) and sew bottom seam.
2. Work 3-needle bind off as follows: holding the circular needle so that both ends are parallel and pointing to the right, use a spare needle to knit 1 st from each point together; *knit the next 2 sts tog (one from each needle), then pull the first st over the 2nd (1 st bound off); rep from * until all sts are bound off.

Turn the bag inside out so that the purl side is on the outside.
