What Information is Collected, How, and Why.
There are forms on our website in which we invite you to voluntarily provide us with information. This information is used to fulfill your order(s) for Company's Coming products. We use the latest technologies to protect the information you provide to us. We do not sell or trade your personal information with outside parties. Our website does not collect personally identifying information except when you specifically and knowingly volunteer it.
A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that we transfer to your system through your web browser. The cookie is not used to collect information. Instead the cookie is used to identify your alphanumeric customer code to our site to facilitate automatic entry of your name and address if you make a subsequent purchase. The Help menu on the toolbar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, allow you to be notified when you receive a new cookie, or tell you how to disable cookies altogether.
We receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way (e.g., over the phone, by mail, fax or e-mail). You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of our on-line or mail order services. Personal information (including credit card number, name and address) provided to companyscoming.com is encrypted so that it cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. This technology, called Secure Socket Layers (SSL), is one of the most advanced security systems available today, for maximum security and confidentiality of your information. We process your order internally, without the aid of a third-party financial institution.
If you still prefer not to use your credit card on the Internet, you can choose to complete the online order form, then print it and fax or mail in your payment and order. When you choose to purchase from us by credit card, we retain your credit card information for the period of time required by the Cardholder Company (VISA Card or MasterCard) to prove you have authorized the transaction. After that required period has elapsed, we shred the original order, including your credit card number. Your credit card number is not stored in any electronic format in our system. Of course, we transmit the credit card number to the appropriate credit card company (VISA Card or MasterCard) during order processing.
