Cheese Triangles

Beat egg in small bowl until frothy. Add all 3 cheeses and parsley. Beat until smooth. Lay 1 pastry sheet on working surface. Cover remaining pastry with damp tea towel. Working quickly, brush sheet generously with melted margarine. Cut into four 4 inch (10 cm) wide strips, along longer edge. Fold each strip in half lengthwise to make 2 inch (5 cm) wide strips. Brush with margarine. Place 1 tsp. (5 cm) cheese mixture in center at 1 end. Fold 1 corner over to form triangle. Continue folding over in same fashion to end of strip. Brush final triangle with margarine. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining cheese mixture and pastry sheets. Bake in 400°F (205°C) oven for about 15 minutes until golden. Makes 64. |
