Chocolate Peanut Cookies

Cream first 3 ingredients in large bowl. Add next 4 ingredients. Beat well. Combine next 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Add to butter mixture in 2 additions, mixing well after each addition until no dry flour remains. Add chocolate chips and peanuts. Mix well. Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch (3.8 cm) balls. Arrange balls about 2 inches (5 cm) apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350°F (175°C) oven for 8 to 10 minutes until firm and golden. Let stand on cookie sheets for 5 minutes. Remove cookies from cookie sheets and place on wire racks to cool. Makes about 40 cookies. |
