Elbows-On-The-Table Salad

Quick and easy, mild and creamy. Kids will love the colourful vegetables and elbow macaroni coated in a simple, but delicious dressing. Serve this with chicken drumsticks and tell them it’s all "arms and legs" for lunch!
 
FASTA PASTA DRESSING
Salad dressing (or mayonnaise)2 tbsp.30 mL
Sour cream1 tbsp.15 mL
Prepared mustard1 tsp.5 mL
 
Cooked elbow macaroni (about 2/3 cup,1 cup250 mL
150 mL, uncooked)
Chopped celery1/4 cup60 mL
Grated carrot1/4 cup60 mL
Grated medium Cheddar cheese1/4 cup60 mL
Sliced green onion1 – 2 tbsp.15 – 30 mL
 
Fasta Pasta Dressing: Combine first 3 ingredients in small cup. Makes 3 tbsp. (50 mL) dressing.

Put remaining 5 ingredients into medium bowl. Toss. Drizzle with dressing. Toss well. Cover. Chill for 2 hours to blend flavours. May be stored in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 days. Makes about 2 cups (500 mL).
