Prepare pizza dough. Divide into 4 equal balls. Cover. Let rest while preparing filling. Sauté green and red peppers in hot cooking oil in medium frying pan until tender-crisp. Remove from heat. Add mushrooms, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir together. Roll out 1 ball of dough on lightly floured surface into 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick circle. Spread 1/2 of circle with 1 tbsp. (15 mL) pizza sauce, to within 1 inch (2.5 cm) of edge. Spoon 1/4 of mushroom mixture over top of pizza sauce. Layer with 1/4 of ham. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. (5 mL) Parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup (60 mL) Muenster cheese. Moisten edge with water. Fold over and press to seal, folding edge upward and over. Crimp edge with fork. Repeat, making 3 more. Place on greased baking sheet. Poke holes in top. Bake on bottom rack in 425°F (220°C) oven for about 15 minutes. Makes 4 calzones. |
