Oriental Cheese Spread

| Block of cream cheese marinated in soy sauce, ginger and onion. Very yummy. Serve with a variety of crackers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Combine first 6 ingredients in shallow bowl. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour into resealable plastic bag. Makes 3/4 cup (175 mL) marinade. Add cream cheese. Seal bag. Turn to coat. Marinate in refrigerator for 3 days, turning occasionally. Remove cream cheese. Press into sesame seeds until completely coated. Place on serving plate. Sprinkle remaining sesame seeds over top. Serves 8 to 10. |
