Peppered Dry Ribs

A first-rate feast! These barbecued, lemony-spiced ribs are a savoury solution for a summer supper.
 
Lemon pepper1 tbsp.15 mL
Cajun seasoning1 1/2 tsp.7 mL
Brown sugar, packed1 1/2 tsp.7 mL
Baby back pork ribs (about 2 racks)2 1/2 – 3 lbs.1.1 – 1.4 kg
 
Combine first 3 ingredients in small bowl. Rub on both sides of ribs. Preheat gas barbecue to medium-high. Turn off burner on 1 side. Place ribs on greased grill over drip pan on unlit side, leaving opposite burner on medium-high. Close lid. Cook for about 45 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender. Cut into 3-bone portions. Serves 4.
