Avocado adds a nice touch to an array of juicy fruit coated in creamy dressing. Use any seasonal fruit.
 
POPPY SEED DRESSING
Low-fat vanilla (or plain) yogurt1 cup250 mL
Liquid honey1 tbsp.15 mL
Lemon juice2 tsp.10 mL
Poppy seeds2 tsp.10 mL
Ground ginger1/4 tsp.1 mL
 
Mandarin oranges, segmented88
Red medium grapefruits, segmented and44
cut into bite-size pieces
Ripe medium avocados, cut into 1/2 inch22
(12 mm) pieces
Seedless red grapes1 cup250 mL
Seedless green grapes1 cup250 mL
 
Poppy Seed Dressing: Combine first 5 ingredients in small bowl. Makes about 1 cup (250 mL) dressing.

Put remaining 5 ingredients into large bowl. Drizzle with dressing. Toss gently. Serves 10.
