Let pie crust stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Unroll pie crust. Place on large ungreased baking sheet with sides. Place oven rack in bottom position. Turn oven on to 400°F (205°C). Put next 3 ingredients into medium bowl. Stir. Spoon chicken mixture onto centre of pastry, leaving 3 inch (7.5 cm) border. Fold a section of border up and over edge of filling, allowing pastry to overlap so that fold is created. Pinch to seal. Repeat until pastry border is completely folded around filling. Brush pastry with egg. Bake in oven for about 30 minutes until pastry is golden. Put baking sheet on stovetop. Turn oven off. Let pie stand for 5 minutes. Cuts into 4 wedges. |
